In our pursuit of health and well being, we often look at the body in simple terms like calorie consumption, exercise, and nutrition. However, there’s a more profound perspective that goes beyond calories and physical activity. It revolves around the idea that the body is not just a biological machine but a vessel that stores and processes everything we ingest—both physically and emotionally. This approach touches upon how we are creating well being or invite disease based on the food we eat, the emotions we feel, and the experiences we immerse ourselves in.
The above video is 30 mins and it covers the journey and reason why I became vegan.
Contrary to the common belief that the body “burns calories,” the reality is that our body is a transfer system. Rather than breaking down food to burn energy, the body processes and transfers the energy and nutrients it receives from the food we eat. Think of your body like a conduit—transforming what you ingest into usable energy while eliminating what’s unnecessary. Every meal or snack becomes fuel that the body processes, breaking it down into essential components, like proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, which get transferred into our cells and systems to keep us functioning.
Here’s where the concept of karma comes into play. The body doesn’t just take in nutrients; it also absorbs the energetic qualities of the food we consume. The food we eat has its own "karma"—a history, a set of conditions it has passed through, whether that’s the soil it was grown in or the way it was processed. When we consume food, we don’t just digest nutrients; we also absorb the energy and karma of that food. This energy becomes part of us, influencing how we feel and function. In some ways, the choices we make at the dinner table can either promote well being or contribute to disease.
When we talk about the body storing karma, it means that everything we consume, from food to media, leaves an imprint. This imprint isn’t just stored in the digestive system—it manifests in our muscles, tissues, and even our emotions. Over time, this karma accumulates, shaping our health, mood, and overall well being. If we consistently consume foods and media filled with negativity, stress, or toxic energy, we may unknowingly store that in our bodies, leading to physical and emotional imbalances.
Another dimension of well being that often goes overlooked is the emotional aspect. Emotions are not just fleeting feelings; they are frequencies we can tune into, like radio stations. These emotional frequencies play a critical role in our well-being. If we consistently tune into higher frequencies such as joy, love, and gratitude, our emotional and physical health flourish. Conversely, if we dwell in lower frequencies such as anger, fear, or sadness, it can weigh down our mood and body, creating an energetic imbalance.
Emotions can also be seen as a pathway to release built-up karma. When we experience strong emotions, whether they are positive or negative, we have the opportunity to process and release emotional baggage that may have been stored in the body. In this sense, emotions are like a valve for letting go of accumulated emotional energy. By allowing ourselves to fully experience and express our emotions, we can clear out emotional “karma” and promote a deeper sense of balance and creating well being.
While emotions are like passing clouds, moods are the atmospheric conditions we live in. Moods are a more sustained vibrational state—our default frequency, so to speak. Just as the body transfers the energy from food into usable fuel, our emotional states transfer into the mood we live in. When we are mindful of our emotional frequencies, we can cultivate a mood that supports well-being. Living in a positive, balanced mood creates a strong foundation for health, happiness, and overall life satisfaction.
Our body serves as a vessel that stores not just the physical energy from food, but also the energetic qualities of everything we consume, including what we watch on TV or scroll through online. Every experience we have leaves an imprint on us. Watching a show that is filled with violence or negativity can have just as much impact on your emotional health as eating food filled with toxins can have on your physical health. These experiences become stored within us, contributing to the overall karma we carry.
Because our body is this vessel that collects and stores energy from everything we encounter, our well being is shaped by more than just food or exercise—it’s also shaped by the information we expose ourselves to and the experiences we engage in. To create true well being, it’s essential to be mindful not only of what we eat but also of what we watch, listen to, and engage with.
The culmination of all these factors—what we eat, what we feel, what we watch—leads to the karma we carry in our body. This karma then influences the way we live our lives, impacting our physical health, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual growth. However, the beauty of this system is that we have control. By making conscious, intentional choices about what we eat, how we handle our emotions, and what experiences we allow into our lives, we can actively shape the karma we carry and, by extension, the quality of our lives.
Making choices rooted in mindfulness—choosing foods that nourish, engaging in media that uplifts, and processing emotions in a healthy way—will lead to a more vibrant, balanced life. This, in turn, creates a ripple effect that touches every part of our well being.
. In the end, well being is about much more than calorie counting or exercise routines. It’s about understanding the profound ways in which everything we take in—whether it’s food, emotions, or information—impacts our body and mind. By embracing the idea that our body is a vessel that transfers energy and stores karma, we can begin to make more conscious, mindful choices that promote health, happiness, and spiritual well being. Remember, every choice you make contributes to the karma stored in your body. Start with small, mindful changes and watch how you begin creating well being and transform your life.
